Rosiglitazone maleate is an oral antidiabetic agent, which acts primarily by increasing insulin sensitivity, improving glycemic control while reducing circulating insulin levels.

Metformin hydrochloride is a type of antidiabetic medicine known as a biguanide that decreases the amount of sugar  produced by cells in the liver.
